Wilton Singers Presents:
‘Tis the Season: Virtual Concert
How do I buy tickets?
Click here to go to our showtix4u.com where you can purchase tickets. Since this is a new process for many, we put together a walkthrough video to help you though it, click here to view. Once you purchase tickets you will receive an email confirmation with a link to the show and an access code.
What is an access code?
This is the password you will need to access the live stream on December 18th. When it’s time for the show, click the link in your confirmation email and enter your access code to get in. Each code will only work on one device at a time.
Is this a live event?
No, this is a pre recorded video production. Over the last several months Wilton Singers have been recording their voices and putting together videos to make a full length virtual concert. It will be aired at a specific time (December 18th at 8pm) so we can all enjoy it together with a live chat, but it’s not happening in real time. It’s like watching a holiday special on TV together!
Why does the start time on my ticket say 7:30?
The premiere actually begins at 8pm ET however, we wanted to give you time to settle in, grab some coco and snacks, and feel confident that everything is set up perfectly to enjoy the show! Think of it as the doors open time :)
What is a live chat?
It’s similar to texting or instant messaging. There will be an icon at the top right of your screen that will open a text box to the side of the video. There you can put in your name and chat with other audience members and the Singers in real time.
What does “per device” mean?
Each ticket comes with a link and an access code (see above) that will be used to access the stream on a digital device, such as a computer, cell phone, or tablet. The code will only work on one device at a time, so if you try to log in on your computer after using it on your phone, the steam on your phone will be interrupted and begin playing on your computer. What does this mean? Don’t share your access code with friends or you won't be able to watch. Bonus: You can connect your computer to your television with an HDMI cable for a full screen viewing experience!
Can I buy a ticket as a gift?
Of course! It makes a very special holiday gift! If you plan to buy a ticket for friends and/or family, there are two ways you can do this:
Option one: At checkout, select 2 or more devices - the number of tickets you want to gift along with your own - and you will receive a confirmation with multiple access codes. Just be sure you keep track of who gets which code so you don’t run into issues on show night. The code will only work for one device at a time. There is also an option to print your tickets if you’d like to mail it with a holiday card or gift - this way you don’t have to keep track of the codes.
Option two: Do a separate transaction for each ticket. There are no additional transaction fees, so this may be the least confusing option. You can then forward the confirmation email to your recipient with a nice holiday greeting!
I'm not available on the 18th. Can I still see the show?
If you’re unable to attend the streaming premiere, the show will be available via a private link on YouTube. With your ticket, you will receive this exclusive link which will go live on December 18th at 9pm only for ticket holders. That way you can watch and rewatch the show whenever you want through New Years Day! You will receive a separate follow up email on December 18th with the link - it will not come with your ticket confirmation.
I bought a ticket, but I didn't get a confirmation email. What do I do? First step is to check your SPAM folder. Sometimes the email mistakenly gets sent there. If you’re still not seeing it, contact email@example.com for assistance.
What’s the live Q&A on YouTube?
After the premiere ends, you can head over to our YouTube channel to watch a LIVE Q&A with Director Kevin Cotellese at 9pm. You can do this by going to youtube.com and searching Wilton Singers. If you follow us and turn on notifications, you'll get one when the live starts! Click here to subscribe
Many of the Singers will be joining in via the live chat (see above for how those work). Together we’ll share the after-concert buzz, answer any questions you have about the virtual performances, and thank the audience and community members who joined. We’d love to see you there!
It’s concert night and I can't get in! Help!
If you’re receiving an error message that says only one code can be used for one platform, that means someone else is using the same code as you on another device. All the codes are unique so this can only happen if you accidentally give your code to someone else and they attempt to use it at the same time as you. Contact anyone you may have gifted a code to to make sure they’re not using the same one as you. We have no way of tracing who is using your code.
If you are still having issues getting your access code to work, email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. There will be Singers on call to help you up until show time. Sign in early to avoid missing any of the show!
Can I purchase the video or music to own?
No decisions have been made at this time, but stay tuned!
